Aruba is a great place to explore!

You can do this on your own or take a guided tour.  It is fun to take a jeep caravan tour.  You jump in a jeep and follow a group of about 10 other jeeps.  The guide takes you to all the interesting spots on the island including the dunes, chapel on the hill overlooking the ocean, lighthouse, natural bridge, out-of-the-way beaches, caves, etc.  There are several tour companies that offer this.  Check out the Aruba websites for the one you might like best.

If you want to ride in an air-conditioned bus and have a simple tour of the Island to get your bearings, bus tours are also available through DePalm Tours or the “Explore Aruba Adventure”.

If you want a tour of the local watering holes (bars), take a ride on the Kukoo Kunuku bus.  They offer dinner at a local home, and visit four or five local bars for drinking, singing, and dancing.

A sailing tour aboard ship is another option.  The sailing vessel Mi Dushi is fun for an afternoon of sailing and snorkeling.  For an evening cruise with dinner, try the vessel Tattoo.  You can book reservations for either boat right on the beach in front of the Aruba Grand hotel or e-mail a reservation at midushi@visitaruba.com.
